Laftet Nader is the title for a collection of my art documentary work that was done
during an art project in Jordan in 2014 with Syrian refugee children. I organized
workshops of about 10 weeks with the goal being to support the children through
opportunities to draw, paint and experience playing with colour. The energy and
love of life that I felt during my daily experience pushed me to paint these portraits
late into the nights. This experience has profoundly influenced me in my art and
personal life. I learned so much from it and from the people I met through it who
added beautiful new aspects to my life, further inspiring me to create new and
important projects.
